Dr. Wiryanto, S.H. M.Hum., was born in Boyolali on June 5, 1964 in Kunti Village, Andong District, Boyolali Regency, Central Java. He is the 6th (sixth) child of Mr. Moh. Tohari and Mrs. Wajinem, with 6 (six) siblings.

He graduated from Elementary School at SDN Kunti in 1976, Junior High School at SMP Pemda Brojol in 1980 and Senior High School at SMA KI Ageng Pandanaran in 1986. He continued his undergraduate education at the University of 17 August 1945 Semarang in 1995, Postgraduate Program S2 at Diponegoro University in 2002, and Postgraduate Doctoral Program S3 at Brawijaya University in 2017 with a dissertation manuscript entitled "Reconstruction of Ethical Supervision of Constitutional Justices".

He started his career as a non-permanent worker in the 1980s at SMP Negeri I Semarang and the Office of the Religious Court Class IA Semarang (PA Semarang). In 1988, he was appointed as a Civil Servant Candidate (CPNS) and devoted himself until 2003 at PA Semarang. At the end of 2003, he began his career at the Constitutional Court, starting as a Substitute Registrar, Head of Sub-Division and Head of Case Administration Division, Head of the Center for Case Research and Study and Library Management, Head of the Legal Affair and Registrar Administration Bureau of the Registrar's Office, Junior Registrar II/Main Expert Constitutional Registrar, to the position he currently holds as Acting Chief Registrar of the Constitutional Court.

In addition, he is also a non-tenured lecturer at several universities, including teaching at the Faculty of Sharia, IAIN Walisongo Semarang in 2000-2003, the Faculty of Law, Indonesian Christian University in 2006-2010, the Faculty of Law, Esa Unggul University in 2016-2017, and since 2017 until now he has been teaching at the Postgraduate Faculty of Law, Asy-Syafiiyyah University in Jakarta. In addition, he took the time to be a resource person according to his field in various events including Focus Group Discussions (FGD), Seminars, Workshops, Public Lectures, Technical Guidance and Moot Court.
