Benedictus Amoiye and Benedictus Tori Paliling (Petitioners) argued that there were violations of money politics committed by Candidate Number 3 or his winning team. The violation of money politics is conducted by offering and distributing money to voters. The violation of money politics committed by Candidate Number 3 according to the Petitioners was carried out by using the apparatus at all levels, which had been reported to the Mappi Regency Bawaslu but was not followed up for various reasons.

The Petitioners also argued that there were violations committed by Candidate Number 3 in the form of minors voting for ballots. The Petitioners argued that this violation occurred massively in almost all districts in Mappi Regency.

The Petitioners requested the Court to certify the Petitioner's 21,717 votes. The Petitioners also requested the Court to order the KPU Mappi Regency to certify the Petitioners as the Elected Regent and Deputy Regent Candidate Pair.
