JAKARTA (MKRI) — The Constitutional Court’s (MK) Center for Information and Communication Technology (PusTIK) won the dynamic archival information system (SIKD) Award again for its SIKD response speed for March 2023.
The rotating award was handed over by Acting Secretary-General Heru Setiawan in person before officials and employees of the Court at the main meeting room on Monday, April 3, 2023. The center has now won the award three times in 2023, for January to March.
In his remarks, Acting Secretary-General Heru Setiawan said that any changes to SIKD must be prepared well. “All changes to the SIKD must be prepared,” he said.
He also asked that variables be prepared in programming. All data that enters the SIKD, he said, must have rationale so that they be recognized by the system.
He also asked that admins be selected to input meeting agendas. In addition, he requested an additional option to cancel meeting participation.

The ICT Center won the SIKD Award six times throughout 2022: in June for its response speed of 1 hour 2 minutes, in July for its response speed of 1 hour 8 minutes, in September for its response speed of 1 hour 36 minutes, in October for its response speed of 1 hour 27 minutes, in November for its response speed of 2 hours 17 minutes, and in December for its response speed of 2 hours 1 minute.
The SIKD was first founded on the idea of fast and easy management of archives to facilitate an institution’s leadership and the general public. It aims to minimize the manual archives, which could lead to difficulties in finding archives when needed and even loss of archives—a constraint that hinders any organization.
It was founded as a solution to archival management issues using information technology. The central government’s national policy regarding the SIKD reflects President Joko Widodo’s Nawacita (nine Priorities Agenda), the electronic-based government system (SPBE), as well as the National Archives’ (ANRI) policy that mandates all institutions/agencies to use it to manage their archives. This is in line with the Court’s vision to uphold the Constitution through a modern and reliable judiciary.
The main objective of the SIKD is to provide an easy, fast, effective, and efficient archiving service. The Registrar’s Office and the Secretariat General of the Constitutional Court felt a significant change after using the SIKD application for archive management.
