BEKASI (MKRI) — Head of the Public Relations and Protocol Bureau Heru Setiawan officially closed a meeting for the drafting of new chief justice regulations (PKMKs) for the resolution of disputes over the results of presidential and legislative election of 2024 (2024 PHPU) on Saturday, March 4, 2023 in Bekasi, West Java Province.
In his closing remarks, Heru said the PKMKs were to regulate technical matters such as registration, case consultation, case reception, petition revision, reception of evidence and additional evidence, notification to the respondent and relevant parties, summons, and placement of litigating parties at the courtroom.
“The PKMKs must be finished and everyone has a role to play,” he said.
He also thanked the attendees and urged them to finish the PKMKs soon. He expressed hope that PKMKs would anticipate and optimize the resolution of 2024 PHPU.

The meeting was opened by Chief Justice Anwar Usman. Chief registrar Muhidin, state finance auditor III of BPK (Audit Board) Yophi Setiawan, and middle-rank legislative drafter of the Directorate-General of Legislation of the Law and Human Rights Ministry Rahayu had also delivered presentations. Triyono Edy Budhiarto and Ida Ria Tambunan led the preparation of the PKMK drafts.
