JAKARTA (MKRI) – The Constitutional Court Moslem Organization (Rohis MK) held an orphanage succor event at the Constitutional Mosque on Friday afternoon, March 6, 2026. This event reflects social concern and a sense of togetherness within the Court family in sharing with orphans. Furthermore, the event aims to strengthen ties and foster empathy and solidarity within the Constitutional Court, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan.

The event began with remarks by Chief Justice Suhartoyo. Following this, the assistance was handed over to the orphans by Deputy Chief Justice Saldi Isra, Secretary General Heru Setiawan, Registrar Wiryanto, and Head of the Planning and Finance Bureau Tatang Garjito.

In his remarks, Chief Justice Suhartoyo expressed his appreciation to all parties who participated in the event. The charity event is a tradition held routinely by the Court as a form of concern for the institution's extended family and the surrounding community.

"We thank the donors and all parties who contributed to ensure the success of this event," said Chief Justice.

Chief Justice Suhartoyo also reminded everyone that the donations should not be judged solely in terms of their material value. He emphasized that the main essence of this activity is a demonstration of care and compassion for others.

"Don't judge it by the value or numbers, but rather see it as a manifestation of the Constitutional Court's family concern for others. Hopefully, this donation can help with educational and daily needs," he said.

He added that through this sharing activity, he hoped the entire family of the Constitutional Court would continue to maintain a sense of empathy and social solidarity. "Through this sense of care, we are reminded that many of our brothers and sisters still need help. Therefore, let us continue to maintain our compassion and the spirit of sharing," Chief Justice Suhartoyo concluded.

Meanwhile, Sigit Purnomo, Chair of the Rohis MK in his report, explained the various activities held during Ramadan at the Court. These include the Bakda Zuhur prayer studies held every Monday through Thursday as a means of strengthening faith and increasing religious understanding in between work activities. Furthermore, there is a Ramadan Muslimah study held every Friday as a forum for development for Muslim women within the Court. Other activities include sharing iftar and takjil with congregants at the Constitutional Mosque and partner mosques of the Rohis MK.

"The donations for orphans and the underprivileged held today are a form of concern and compassion for our brothers and sisters," he said.

Sigit also explained that this year's Ramadan donations were distributed to three groups of recipients. First, orphans or children of deceased Court employees who received donations at the Constitutional Mosque. Second, approximately 100 orphans from the community around the Court Housing Complex in Bekasi will receive donations on Saturday, as part of a series of Nuzulul Quran activities with the community. Third, 170 orphans and underprivileged children living near the Pancasila and Constitutional Education Center will receive assistance on March 11, 2026.

Sigit also expressed his appreciation to the donors and all parties who have contributed to Ramadan activities at the Court. "May every good deed be rewarded and receive a manifold reward from Allah SWT," he said.
