JAKARTA (MKRI) – The Constitutional Court (MK) held a Workshop on Financial Accountability and Management for officials and staff within the Registrar’s Office and the Secretariat General of the Court  on Thursday, November 13, 2025 on 10th floor of Court Building I. A total of 56 participants attended the event.

In his remarks, Head of the Bureau of Planning and Finance of the Court, Tatang Garjito, stated that the program aims to provide participants with a better understanding of the new financial planning and accountability system. He hoped this event would enhance participants' comprehension of  financial management.

“Financial accountability cannot be separated from the cooperation of budget implementers, because in order to achieve a secure and orderly accountability process, we must comply with the regulations issued by the Ministry of Finance. Therefore, we are conducting this workshop to ensure proper understanding of financial accountability and expenditure procedures,” said Head of the Bureau of Planning and Finance Tatang Garjito.

Furthermore, Tatang emphasized that every state official is obliged to manage public funds in an orderly manner and in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations. Thus, all activities related to state budgeting must be fully accountable.

“The indicators include compliance in budget implementation according to the rules and regulations, as well as timeliness in financial accountability with effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability. It is also expected that this program will lead to the establishment of a real-time budget monitoring system, and in the near future, the issuance of a regulation by the Secretary General of the Constitutional Court on state financial accountability and management,” Tatang elaborated.

The event featured speakers from the Directorate of Budget Implementation, who presented an overview of the 2025 fiscal year financial accountability and management, and from the Directorate of Treasury Information Systems and Technology, who discussed the interconnection between the SAKTI system and the development of the SIVIKA application.
