JAKARTA, (MKRI) – To facilitate the 2025 Annual Tax Return (SPT) reporting for state officials, civil servants, and government contract employees (PPPK), the Constitutional Court (MK) held a Socialization on Coretax Account Activation on Tuesday (11/11/2025). The event, conducted both online and onsite from the Court’s Delegation Room, was officially opened by Head of the Planning and Finance Bureau Tatang Garjito, accompanied by several structural and functional officials of the Court.

Tatang expressed hope that all Constitutional Court staff would complete their Coretax account activation, which will be used during the January-March 2026 tax period.

“Through this Coretax system, it’s important for everyone to participate in the activation process, learn the steps for tax reporting, and directly consult with tax officers present here at the Delegation Room. Hopefully, this will help prevent any issues during the annual SPT reporting later,” said Tatang.

Implementing the New Tax System

Meanwhile, Head of the Finance Division Endrizal reported that a total of 689 participants attended the session, both online and in person. He noted that this socialization marks the first year of Coretax implementation for all taxpayers required to file their annual tax returns.

“This year, the Constitutional Court welcomed new ASN PPPK personnel, which means more tax-related information needs to be conveyed. Through this event, we expect all MK civil servants, as taxpayers, to have active Coretax accounts and be able to submit their reports in an orderly and timely manner,” Endrizal explained.

Steps for Coretax Activation

To help participants understand the activation process, two representatives from KPP Pratama Jakarta Gambir I—Anom Maulana, Head of Service Division, and Tut Yudha Pramudya Gandhi, Senior Tax Extension Assistant—provided practical guidance on how to use the system. After the presentation, nine officers from KPP Pratama Jakarta Gambir I held an Open Table session to assist MK staff with account activation and authorization code registration.

As background, Coretax is an administrative service system developed by the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) as part of the Core Tax Administration System Renewal Project (PSIAP), which is regulated under Presidential Regulation Number 40 of 2018. The PSIAP aims to redesign the tax administration business process through the development of a Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS)-based information system and a restructured tax database.

The purpose of Coretax is to modernize Indonesia’s tax administration by integrating all core processes-ranging from taxpayer registration, SPT filing, and tax payments to audits and collection-into a unified digital system.
