JAKARTA, (MKRI) – Several structural and functional officials of the Constitutional Court (MK) attended the ceremony commemorating the 97th Youth Pledge Day 2025, held on Tuesday (10/28/2025) at the Courtyard of Building II of the Court. The Head of the Public Relations and Protocol Bureau of the Court, Pan Mohamad Faiz, served as the Ceremony Inspector, accompanied by the ceremony officers representing the Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK).

Despite the cloudy weather, the ceremony proceeded solemnly. The raising of the Red and White Flag and the reading of the text of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia (UUD 1945) were carried out properly, even as light drizzles began to fall.

Every year on 28 October, Indonesians celebrate Youth Pledge Day to commemorate the struggles of all elements of Indonesian youth who spread the spirit of maintaining the nation’s patriotism. Their struggle eventually unified the national vision through the declaration of the national commitment known as the Youth Pledge, which reads:

One motherland, Indonesia;

One nation, the Indonesian nation;

One language of unity, the Indonesian language.

The commemoration of the 97th Youth Pledge Day 2025 carries the theme “Youth in Action, Indonesia United.” The theme conveys the message that Indonesia’s future glory must be realized through collaboration across all elements of the nation. This spirit aligns with the direction of youth development in the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) and Asta Cita, which emphasize the importance of synergy between central and regional governments, the role of youth organizations, innovation among the younger generation, and the strengthening of both national and global networks. To achieve Indonesia’s progress, youth development requires collaboration, synergy, and togetherness among all stakeholders, at both the central and regional levels.
