JAKARTA, (MKRI) – The Constitutional Court (the Court) held a ceremony to commemorate Pancasila Sanctity Day on Wednesday (10/1/2025) in the courtyard of the Court’s Building II, Jakarta. The solemn ceremony was attended by structural officials and all Court staff members.
“In commemorating Pancasila Sanctity Day, we reaffirm our determination to uphold and practice the values of Pancasila as a source of strength to foster unity in the struggle to defend and uphold truth and justice for the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia,” declared the ceremony officer.
This statement was the closing part of the Pledge, read aloud during today’s ceremony. The content of the pledge reaffirmed the spirit of togetherness founded on the noble values of Pancasila, which ensures that the Indonesian nation remains capable of strengthening the existence of the Republic. The pledge serves as a collective declaration of the Indonesian people to reaffirm loyalty, unity, and consistency in practicing the values of Pancasila in daily life.
The ceremony was led by Head of the General Affairs Bureau, Budi Wijayanto. He also led the moment of silence in honor of the heroes’ sacrifices. All participants were reminded that Pancasila is not only the foundation of the state, but also a moral, legal, and political compass that must be continually preserved.
