JAKARTA, (MKRI)-The Library of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia (MKRI) took part in the Exhibition of State Institutions and Libraries: Knowing State Institutions, Safeguarding the Constitution, and Building the Nation organized by the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR). This flagship event was held on August 19-22, 2025 as part of the series of activities for the MPR Constitutional Week.

Secretary-General of the MPR Siti Fauziah officially opened the exhibition on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the Plaza of Nusantara V Building, MPR/DPR/DPD RI Complex, Central Jakarta. She explained that the exhibition was joined by the MPR, DPR, DPD, the Constitutional Court (MK), and the National Nutrition Agency.

“This exhibition that we are conducting is none other than a collaborative exhibition aimed at introducing the functions, history, and contributions of state institutions as well as libraries as sources of constitutional information and education to support national life and statehood,” said Siti.

She mentioned that the Constitutional Court is a state institution that also plays an important role in Indonesia’s constitutional system, particularly in safeguarding the Constitution and upholding law and justice. This exhibition, she added, can also enhance and build awareness, especially among the younger generation, in utilizing libraries as sources of literacy and access to diverse knowledge.

According to Siti, the exhibition serves as a form of visualization and public interaction in understanding Indonesia’s constitutional system. It not only showcases the vital roles of state institutions in safeguarding the Constitution but also highlights the strategic role of libraries, both national and regional, as sources of constitutional information and education.

The opening event was attended by Head of the Center for Research and Case Studies and Library Management of the Constitutional Court Kurniasih Panti Rahayu. At the exhibition, in addition to displaying books authored by the Court’s justices and staff, the Court also presented engaging activities such as quizzes on the Constitution with prizes for the winners.
