JAKARTA, (MKRI) – The Constitutional Court (the Court) held a flag-hoisting ceremony to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia on Sunday (08/17/2025). The ceremony took place at the courtyard of Building II of the Court.

Serving as ceremony supervisor was Mundiri, Head of the Pancasila and Constitution Education Center, while the ceremony commander was Police Inspector Eko Dwi Cahyo.

The 80th Independence Day celebration carried the theme “United and Sovereign, Prosperous People, Advanced Indonesia.” This theme reflects the nation’s current and future aspirations for unity, sovereignty, prosperity, and progress.

Participants in the ceremony included Court leaders, Secretary-General Heru Setiawan, Acting Registrar Wiryanto, bureau heads, and Court staff. The ceremony was solemn and meaningful, honoring the struggles of the nation’s heroes. The entire series of activities—from the hoisting of the Red and White flag, the salutation, to the recitation of prayers—proceeded in an orderly and dignified manner.
