JAKARTA (MKRI) — Through Decision No. 73/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2020/PN.Niaga.Jkt.Pst, the Central Jakarta District Court declares Sashabila Widya L. Mus’ father Ahmad Hidayat Mus bankrupt, thus is unrelated to Sashabila, argued the Taliabu Island Regency Elections Commission (KPU) as the Respondent relating to the allegation of Sashabila’s bankruptcy. This statement was delivered at the second hearing for case No. 315/PHPU.BUP-XXIII/2025 on the 2024 Taliabu Island regent election results dispute on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.

The Respondent’s legal counsel Hendra Kasim further explained that the Central Jakarta District Court Decision No. 28/Pdt.Sus-GLL/2021/PN Niaga.Jkt. Pst, the Supreme Court Decision No. 927 K/Pdt. Sus-Pailit/2022, and the Supreme Court Decision No. 17 PK/Pdt.Sus-Pailit/2023 did not declare Sashabila Widya L. Mus bankrupt. Upon clarification by the Central Jakarta District Court, the Respondent issued a report No. 76.2/PL.02.2-BA/8208/2/2024 on the clarification of the candidate requirement documents in the 2024 Taliabu Island regent-vice regent election dated September 20, 2024.

“In other words, there has never been a court decision that declared Sashabila Widya L. Mus bankrupt. The allegation of LHKPN (wealth report) of Taliabu Island Regency vice regent candidate Sashabila Widya L. Mus made by candidate pair number 3, who earned third highest votes, in petition No. 221/PHPU.BUP-XXIII/2025, has been legally adjudicated by the Constitutional Court and ruled in Decision No. 221/PHPU.BUP-XXIII/2025 dated February 5, 2025,” Hendra said.

Sashabila’s Counterstatement

At the hearing, regent-vice regent candidates number 1 Sashabila Widya L. Mus–La Ode Yasir (Relevant Party) explained the Petitioners’ dishonesty through legal counsel Muhajir. Muhajir said vice regent candidate number 2 Citra Puspa Sari Mus had used her bachelor’s degree of social science (S.Sos.) to run in election while the higher education database shows that she was expelled from Nuku University. He also alleged that she had used her fraudulent bachelor’s degree (S.Sos.) and master’s degree (M.Si.) as the head of the Taliabu Island Regency Education Office in 2023.

“The 2024 Taliabu Island Regency vice regent candidate number 2 Citra Puspa Sari Mus is suspected to be a senior high school (SMA) graduate but holds the office of the head of the Taliabu Island Regency Education Office. With such a fact, the dishonest party running as a vice regent candidate of Taliabu Island Regency is Citra Puspasari Mus,” Muhajir explained.
