JAKARTA (MKRI) - The Constitutional Court (MK) held an event of welcoming the month of Ramadhan (Tarhib) and Orphanage Succor for the Court Family on Tuesday (25/2/2025) at the Constitutional Mosque, Building 3, 3rd floor, Jakarta. The  event was attended by Deputy Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Saldi Isra, Constitutional Justice Arsul Sani, Ridwan Mansyur, M. Guntur Hamzah, along with Secretary General Heru Setiawan, and the Court employees.

This event was held to welcome the Holy Month of Ramadhan 1446 H/2025 M and to provide succor for 21 orphans of the Court employees. The total budget for this charity is 65 million rupiah in total. This budget comes from donations and the Court’s Moslem Council (Rohis) fund.

Deputy Chief Justice Saldi Isra said in his speech that the extended family of the Court should be grateful to face the Holy Month of Ramadan this year as it is easier than the previous year. Because in the last Ramadan 1445 H/2024 M, the Constitutional Court was busy handling the General Election Results Dispute (PHPU) cases for members of the DPR, DPD, and DPRD. Praise be to God, this time, the Court has completed handling all PHPU cases for regional heads on Monday (24/02/2025).

"We should be grateful because the PHPU Kada has been completed, which was initially going to take some time during the Holy Month of Ramadan," said Saldi.

Saldi further said that the atmosphere of Ramadan 2025 can be seen at the Constitutional Mosque. The Constitutional Justices take turns giving sermons at the Constitutional Mosque. In addition, there will be a kind of compassion between the Court and the families of deceased or former Court employees. "Hopefully this will be a very sincere intention and become an act of worship for all of us," said Saldi.

The Best Version of Human

Constitutional Justice Arsul Sani in his sermon stated that all goodness that is done, the goodness will return to oneself. Conversely, all evil that is done, then the evil will also return to oneself.

"This is the basis of model management. When we do good in our work, then the good will come back to us," said Arsul.

Furthermore, Arsul said that the best human being is one who is beneficial to other human beings. In this context, Arsul said that it is related to the institution of the Constitutional Court which according to him because the Court is not a political institution, then its choice is only to do and implement goodness in accordance with its constitutional duties.

In addition, Arsul also advised all parties not to be fussy individuals. "Any religion always contains two dimensions, namely the vertical dimension with the God or hablun minallâh and the horizontal dimension or hablun minannâs,which means the relationship between humans and fellow human beings," said Arsul.
