JAKARTA (MKRI) — The 53th anniversary of the Indonesian Civil Servants Corp (KORPRI) was celebrated nationally at Mahaka Square Britama, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta City on Friday, November 29, 2024. As many as 4,000 state civil apparatuses (ASN) from various ministries, regional governments, as well as state agencies and institutions. KORPRI's anniversary is an important moment to strengthen ASN's commitment to supporting nation development and making KORPRI a strategic element in the Indonesian government.

Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Rini Widyantini delivered a speech on behalf of President Prabowo Subianto. "KORPRI is now entering a new phase with its transformation into the Indonesian ASN Employee Corps in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 20 of 2023 on State Civil Apparatus. "Let's support government programs that are always oriented towards people's welfare," said Rini when reading President Prabowo Subianto's remarks.

This transformation aims to strengthen the spirit of the ASN Employee Corps as a unifier of the nation. The President also encouraged the acceleration of the issuance of Government Regulations on KORPRI to improve welfare and legal protection for ASN.

In his remarks, the President emphasized several strategic issues, such as strengthening solidarity and collaboration, increasing innovation and digitalization, ASN integrity and discipline, access to healthy food, renewable energy transition, and efforts to reduce poverty. Through this theme, it is hoped that KORPRI's anniversary will be a momentum to accelerate the achievement of the organization's big goals as an integrator for the nation and a driver of people's welfare.

The General Chair of the Korpri National Management Board, Zudan Arif Fakrulloh, explained that the theme of this anniversary "KORPRI for Indonesia" contains an important meaning, namely that ASN throughout Indonesia play a role in strengthening the unity and development of the Indonesian nation. "This means that we must dedicate all our best strengths and abilities to Indonesia. "Appreciation to KORPRI members who maintain neutrality and support the success of the democratic process, including the legislative, presidential and regional elections, in order to promote community welfare and protect the careers of ASN," he said.

Apart from that, the Court also has KORPRI Ambassadors, namely Ganggas Wibisono and Allita Prasantama. The presence of KORPRI Ambassadors from the Court aims to increase the professionalism and neutrality of ASN within the Secretariat General of the Court. They are expected to be able to support the realization of good governance and strengthen KORPRI's function as an integrator and unifier of the nation in supporting national development. (*)
