JAKARTA, MKRI PUBLIC RELATIONS – The Constitutional Court (MK) family bid farewell to Elisabeth, Head of the General Affairs Bureau, who retired in October 2024. Elisabeth officially retired after dedicating her service to the MK since 2005.

The farewell ceremony, held in the Auditorium of MK Building 1 in Central Jakarta on Monday, September 30, 2024, was attended by Chief Justice Suhartoyo, MK Secretary General Heru Setiawan, Bureau Heads, and MK employees. In his speech, Suhartoyo expressed his gratitude to Elisabeth for her dedication and solidarity, both vertically and horizontally.

He wished her continued success after retirement and encouraged her to maintain connections with the MK family. “Don’t forget the Constitutional Court,” Suhartoyo remarked.

Heru also expressed his appreciation for Elisabeth's work as Head of the General Affairs Bureau. He praised her for effectively managing household affairs, procurement of goods/services, state property administration, and maintaining the security of the MK.

He reflected that everyone eventually reaches the end of their career, and while goodbyes are often sad, this moment marks the beginning of a new chapter.

“A new chapter of life, greater happiness, and the pursuit of dreams that may have been postponed,” Heru added. “Thank you, Mrs. Elisabeth.”

Elisabeth, on the other hand, expressed her gratitude to God Almighty, who had guided her through her career at the MK. She also thanked her colleagues for their support and apologized for any shortcomings.
