JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Court - Constitutional Justice Arief Hidayat received the Nawacita Awards 2024 in the category “Enforcement of the Democracy and Constitution" on Monday (9/16/2024) evening, at the Raffles Hotel, Jakarta. The Nawacita Awards are given by Media Nawacita Indonesia (MNI) as an appreciation event for individuals, institutions and corporations who have made a real contribution to advancing Trisakti values in the digital era. In addition, awards are given to those who prioritize excellence in various fields ranging from innovation to public services without political relation.
Chairman of the MNI Board of Trustees, Yasonna H. Laoly, in his speech at this activity said that awards were given to figures who had made positive and consistent contributions in terms of ideas, thoughts, policies and attitudes for the progress of the Indonesian nation and state. This award was inspired by Bung Karno, President of the Republic of Indonesia, with the idea of Trisakti, namely being sovereign in politics, independent in the economic field and having personality in culture.
"In the momentum of Indonesia's progress, we will continue the spirit of Trisakti in Nawacita which can continue to be encouraged to build the nation. "Therefore, MNI would like to give appreciation and award to national figures, young people, corporations and institutions who have made contributions in their respective fields according to the categories listed in the awards given to those who win them," said Yahonna at the opening of the activity, which was also attended by various guests from various agencies and corporations.
In the third year, this award was given in nine categories and one individual favorite category. As for the individual winner category of the Nawacita Awards 2024, namely the defense and security category won by TNI General Maruli Simanjuntak; the category of strengthening Indonesian diversity was won by Al Habib Muhammad Quraish Shihab; the national character education category was won by Ahmad Basarah; the national economic independence category was won by Sri Edi Swasono; the infrastructure and industrial progress category was won by Budiarsa Sastrawinata; the democracy fighter category was won by Akbar Faisal; and the law enforcement category was won by Albertina Ho, while the favorite winner in the young generation category was won by Veddriq Leonardo.
Meanwhile, awards for agencies given in the category of pioneering domestic transportation were won by PT National Service Indonesia (Persero); the environmentally friendly development category was won by PT Sentul City Tbk; the education care category was won by the Putera Sampoerna Foundation; the health technology innovation category was won by Mandaya Royal Hospital; the national economic independence category was won by PT. Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk; the infrastructure and industrial progress category was won by PT. Intiland Development Tbk; the health and social category was won by PT. Medikaloka Hermina Tbk; the category for love of domestic products was won by PT. Maspion Group; and the reform fighter category was won by Trisakti University, while the agency's favorite winner in the press freedom inspiration category was won by Tempo Media Group.
