DENPASAR (MKRI) — Deputy Chief Justice Saldi Isra delivered a keynote speech at a national seminar on Friday, August 2, 2024.
Learning from the previous Regional Head Election Results Dispute (PHP Kada) cases, the Constitutional Court has made various efforts to carry out its duties as mandated by the Constitution. One of them is through the implementation of coaching clinics which will be implemented in stages for all stakeholders, starting from the Constitutional Justices to employees, and political candidates.
In addition, the Court also formed a case review team as was implemented in the 2024 Presidential Election Result Dispute (PHPU) in order to detect the weight of the cases filed to the Court. The cases are distributed to the Justices who are divided into three panels equally, hence they can resolve all petition without exceeding the time limit determined by law as the Court was only given 45 days to resolve PHP Kada cases hence must prepare themselves to receive petitions.
"In the upcoming 2024 Pilkada cases, all 9 Constitutional Justices will be divided into three panels based on the Petitioner's arguments, the General Election Committee (KPU) response, and Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) statement. Hence all political candidate must prepare to be called by the Court. Because even though you are the winner of the election, you will still be the party that will provide information pertinent the Petitioner's petition. So do not only look for evidence after the results are announced by the KPU because it will difficult, and you need to prove the arguments with strong data and evidence," said Saldi in an event that was also attended by, among others, the Chairperson of MKMK I Dewa Gede Palguna, the Rector of Unmas Denpasar I Made Sukamerta, the Dean of FH Unmas Denpasar Dr. Kt. Sukawati Lanang P. Perbawa, and Lecturer of FH Unmas Made Hendra Wijaya, as well as the Chairperson of the Bali Provincial KPU I Dewa Ahung Gede Lidartawan at the Ganesa Auditorium Unmas Denpasar.

After being inactive for some time, then on August 23, 1979 IKIP Saraswati was reactivated and developed by opening several departments. Furthermore, based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia dated March 6, 1982, the Saraswati Foreign Language Academy (ABA) was merged and integrated into Mahasaraswati University, Denpasar.
