JAKARTA (MKRI) — Secretary-General Heru Setiawan officially opened a workshop on the government institution performance accountability evaluation (AKIP) of the Constitutional Court for 2023 and the drafting of the government institution performance accountability report (LAKIP) of the Constitutional Court for 2024 on Monday, July 29, 2024, in the Court’s main hall.
In his remarks, Heru stated that today’s event is important, which is why structural officials from the Secretariat General are present. He also discussed the stages of handling disputes related to regional election results and how this impacts the Court’s authority in handling judicial review cases.
“We are all currently striving to catch up and achieve all the indices we have,” said Heru.
Therefore, Heru advised that everyone must be able to improve the indices of their respective work units. He emphasized that everyone should self-assess whether the benefits received are aligned with good performance according to the existing indicators. The indicators for each work unit serve as a measure of how the Government Institution Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) is implemented in the Court.
In her report, Court Inspector Kurniasih Panti Rahayu stated that the event was held to assess the extent to which SAKIP has been implemented. She also mentioned that all bureaus and centers within the Secretariat General attended the event. Additionally, the Court invited Achmad Hasmi, Assistant Deputy for Policy Implementation Coordination and Evaluation of Bureaucratic Reform, Apparatus Accountability, and Supervision I at the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, to identify any shortcomings in the implementation of SAKIP at the Court.
In his presentation, Achmad Hasmi stated that indicators, as measurement tools, are dynamic and will continuously evolve with the times. He added that high ratings are best achieved digitally. However, the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform has found many government institutions with digital applications that, upon inspection, are empty. This can actually lead to a decrease in ratings.
