JAKARTA (MKRI) — The Constitutional Court (MK) participated in the 2024 coordination meeting of the Procurement Services Unit (UKPBJ) for ministries/agencies on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at the Roestam Sjarief Room of the National Procurement Agency (LKPP) Building, Jakarta. Head of the General Affairs Bureau Elisabeth and head of the Procurement and Asset Management Division Syarief Hidayatullah Az Zaky represented the Court at the meeting.
The meeting aimed to coordinate the enhancement of capabilities through the proactive ability of the procurement working unit to achieve a center of excellence in public procurement. The meeting was based on the Presidential Regulation No. 16 of 2018 on government procurement, the LKPP Regulation No. 2 of 2023 on the organization and working procedure of LKPP, and the LKPP Regulation No. 10 of 2021 on procurement services units.
Court Achieves Level-3 Proactive UKPBJ
During the event, certificates were awarded to ministries/agencies that had achieved or maintained a proactive UKPBJ status. Presentations on institutional and human resource policy directions were also given and a workshop on the preparation of supporting evidence for the UKPBJ also took place. The events aimed to increase the number of proactive UKPBJs in order to enhance the capabilities and management of procurement by ministries/agencies optimally.
The Constitutional Court received a level-3 proactive award, signifying that it has effectively met stakeholders’ needs through internal and external collaboration. In other words, the nine variables in the UKPBJ maturity model have been fulfilled.
