JAKARTA (MKRI)—Semarang University (USM) postgraduate students visited the Constitutional Court (MK) on Monday, July 1, 2024. They were welcomed by Nallom Kurniawan, the Expert Assistant to Constitutional Justices, in the Delegation Room on the 4th floor. During the visit, Nallom delivered a lecture about the Court and its judicial process.
Nallom said that the Constitutional Court of Indonesia has implemented a transparent judicial process. Petitions can be submitted online. Moreover, hearings are broadcast live.
"Ladies and gentlemen, look for which constitutional court institutions have live-streaming hearings. Even there are minutes during the hearing, meaning every word is noted," he said.
Not only that, he continued, after 30 minutes, the decision that had been pronounced by the Constitutional Justices can be downloaded from the Court website. The parties who attended the hearing also received a copy of the decision pronounced in the hearing.
After Nallom's presentation, the students visited the Constitutional History Center (Puskon), located on the 5th and 6th Floors of Building I. Puskon is an educational site that documents the dynamics of the Constitution and the Constitutional Court history through a combination of information, arts, and technology.
