JAKARTA (MKRI) — The 2024 DPR/DPRD (House of Representatives/Regional Legislative Council) election results dispute petition of the electoral district of West Java for case No. 250-02-09-12/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024 was declared inadmissible at a ruling hearing on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The case was petitioned by Morantaro Rinaldi.
“[The Court] rules to declare the Petitioner’s petition inadmissible,” said Chief Justice Suhartoyo in the plenary courtroom.
In the decree delivered by Constitutional Justice M. Guntur Hamzah, the Court stated that the justice deliberation meeting on May 15, 2024 concluded that the Petitioner’s absence at the panel preliminary hearing without any valid reason despite lawful and proper summons showed that the Petitioner did not file the a quo petition seriously.
