JAKARTA (MKRI) – The KPU as the Respondent argued that there was no objection from the witness of the DPRD Candidate from the Democratic Party, Enita Zahara (Petitioner) during the counting of votes for the 2024 election results in Serdang Bedagai Regency. This was revealed by the KPU represented by La Radi Eno in the follow-up hearing of the general election results dispute (PHPU) DPR/DPRD Year 2024 held on Monday (5/13/2024) in the Plenary Session Room of the Constitutional Court. Case Number 164-02-14-02/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024 disputes the vote acquisition with another Democratic Party candidate, namely Suka Dame Julius Saragih.

The Respondent—in this case, the General Election Commission (KPU) of Serdang Bedagai Conducted the Recapitulation of the Vote Count of the 2024 General Election at the regency level and has determined all the results of the vote count of all elections. The count includes the DPRD KABKO Election for Serdang Bedagai Electoral District 4 consisting of 6 sub-districts, 97 villages, and 464 polling stations signed by all chairmen and members of the Serdang Bedagai Regency KPU along with witnesses of political parties of Presidential Tickets and DPD candidate pairs. He emphasized that there were no objections or objections from witnesses and no recommendations from the Election Supervisory Body of Serdang Bedagai Regency regarding the recapitulation of the counting of the number of votes from each candidate witness and the votes of political parties as well as Presidential Tickets and DPD candidate pairs.

"All readings of the Recapitulation of Vote Acquisition at the Regency Level at the Plenary Meeting of the KPU of Serdang Bedagai Regency were approved by all witnesses present, both Presidential and Vice-Presidential Candidates 01, DPD Candidates and witnesses of Political Parties and put their signatures on the Model D-Results KABKO-DPRD KABKO Form and approved by Bawaslu Serdang Bedagai Regency and without any Recommendations. After the signing of the KABKO-DPRD KABKO Result Model D by the KPU of Serdang Bedagai Regency and the Witnesses, the KPU of Serdang Bedagai Regency announced the Recapitulation of Election 2024 vote acquisition on the website https://kab-serdangbedagai.kpu.go.id, but there was no response or rebuttal from any party, "said Radi in the trial.

No Relation to Petition

Regarding all reports of alleged violations received by Bawaslu Serdang Bedagai Regency, Payung Harahap stated that none of them were related to the Petitioner's request. According to him, Enita Zahara had sent a letter to the Election Supervisory Body of Serdang Bedagai Regency regarding the Request for Settlement of Disputes over the Results of Legislative Election Results for Candidates for the Serdang Bedagai Regency DPRD Member of the Democratic Party dated March 8, 2024, which was received by the Election Supervisory Body of Serdang Bedagai Regency on March 13, 2024.

"Against this letter, Bawaslu Serdang Bedagai Regency searched by summoning Sister Enita Zahara for questioning. Based on the results of the request for information, the Serdang Bedagai Regency Bawaslu held a plenary meeting and decided that the above letter could not be upgraded to a finding because it was related to the General Election Results Dispute. The Election Supervisory Body of Serdang Bedagai Regency did not handle any findings related to the subject matter of the Petitioner's request," said Payung.

Previously, the Petitioner argued that there was a reduction in valid votes by the Respondent of 90 valid votes in Silinda Subdistrict, a reduction of Enita Zahara's valid votes by 16 valid votes; Dolok Masihul Subdistrict, a reduction of Enita Zahara Saragih's valid votes by 15 valid votes; Serba Jadi Subdistrict, a reduction of Enita Zahara's valid votes by 16 valid votes; Bintang Bayu Subdistrict, a reduction of Enita Zahara's valid votes by 15 valid votes; Kotari Suudistrict, a reduction of Enita Zahara's valid votes by 14 valid votes; Pispis Sub-district, a reduction of Enita Zahara's valid votes by 14 valid votes.
