JAKARTA (MKRI) - The Constitutional Court (MK) held another hearing on the 2024 Legislative Election Results Dispute on Tuesday (5/7/2024). The second hearing for Case No. 256-01-04-31/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024 was filed by the Party of Functional Groups (Golkar). It was presided over by Panel 2 Justices consisting of Constitutional Deputy Chief Justice Saldi Isra, accompanied by Constitutional Justices Ridwan Mansyur and Arsul Sani.

Initially, the Petitioner's alleged election violations at Polling Station (TPS) 03 in Seith Village, Teluk Kaiely District. The Respondent refuted this allegation as false. Through legal counsel M. Lazuardi Hasibuan, the Respondent stated that there was a recommendation from Bawaslu to conduct a Revoting for the Maluku Provincial DPR members in Maluku Electoral District (Dapil) 2. 

"Because the fact is that follow-up actions were taken by the Respondent in the KPU Buru Regency Plenary Meeting on February 20, 2024, as documented in the Minutes of the Follow-up Actions of the Revoting Recommendation, as the results of the said plenary meeting deemed ineligible for conducting a Revoting," said Lazuardi.

In Bawaslu's statement, Stevin Melay mentioned that regarding the comparison of vote acquisition data between the Golkar and the Indonesian People’s Wave Party (Gelora) for filling the Middle Maluku Regency DPRD in Dapil Middle Maluku 4, the summary of the results in 2 sub-districts, identified as Leihitu and West Leihitu, had been approved by the Maluku Tengan KPU and signed by every present witness. "That the vote acquisition of all parties according to the D.Result KABKO-DPRD KABKO Model is Golkar acquiring 3,207 votes and Gelora acquiring 3,271 votes," Stevin stated.
