JAKARTA (MKRI) — The Constitutional Court (MK) held the second hearing of the National Awakening Party's (PKB) petition with the agenda of hearing the Respondent's answers, hearing statements from Relevant Parties, and Bawaslu's statement, on Monday (6/5/2024). Saleh as legal counsel of the General Election Commission (Respondent) on the petition for Case No. 276-02-01-15/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024 at the follow-up hearing of the dispute of the General Election Results Dispute (PHPU) filed by the Petitioner. The Hearing on PKB internal issues was presided over by panel 2—Constitutional Justices Saldi Isra, Ridwan Mansyur, and Arsul Sani

As a comparison, the Respondent included the Petitioner's vote acquisition, Nur Faizin, in Lentang District. The argument for a reduction of 2,000 votes is not valid. Based on the Form D.Results of Subdistrict-DPRD Pragaan District, D-Form Results of Sumenep Regency, the Petitioner's vote was 1,249 votes, while Nur Faizin's vote was 7,450 votes.

"The Respondent explained the margin in votes did not include corrections to the votes but also included to legislative candidates for the DPR and other Provincial DPRDs who had input errors which corrected by the Lenteng District PPK," said Saleh.

Dewita H. Shinta explained the argument for the vote shift acquisitions in Lenteng District, Bawaslu Sumenep Regency provided the results of the subdistrict supervision of the DPRD District D-Form Results and KABKO D-Form Results PKB vote was 11,417 votes. These results, continued Dewita, led by members of Sumenep KPU, candidate pair witnesses, as well as DPD witnesses. "The reading process by PPK Lenteng for the East Java DPRD XIV went smoothly" said Dewita.

For the information, Alyadi, candidate for East Java DPRD from the National Awakening Party (PKB), questioned the margin in votes in the Electoral District (Dapil) XIV. Alyadi should get 154,329 votes, while another candidate from PKB Nur Faizin should get 140,179 votes. Meanwhile, the KPU stated Alyadi received 150,284 votes, and Nur Faizin received 164,222 votes. Based on the evidence, there is an abnormal margin in results between C-Results at the polling stations (TPS) D-Results in Arjasa District and D-Results in Sumenep Regency. The shifting and inflating votes benefited Nur Faizin and were detrimental to the Petitioner.
