JAKARTA (MKRI) —Musmulyadin, a candidate for Regional Legislative Council (DPRD) of Dompu Regency, filed petition on the 2024 Legislative Election Result Dispute (PHPU) of the DPR (House of Representatives), Provincial and Regency/City DPRD to the Constitutional Court. The hearing for Case No. 195-02-08-18/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024 was presided by Deputy Chief Justice Saldi Isra and Constitutional Justices Ridwan Mansyur and Arsul Sani on Thursday (2/5/2024).
“The chronology of the ballot box opening in the Dompu Regency DPRD recapitulation process on February 15, 2024 at polling station 5 Lune Village, Pajo District. Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) votes were 0, then Candidate number 4 on behalf of Ahmad Dul Rifaid received 11 votes. After the collection of C1 Board and C1 Table, the candidate's votes became 61 votes,” Lukman Mahdami (the Petitioner's legal counsel) told the Panel 2 Panel on one of the allegations of vote inflation.
Therefore, based on the violation, in his petitum the petitioner requests to cancel the vote recapitulation/vote count in Regency Dompu 2 for PKS party in NTB Province. In addition, the petitioner also requests that a revote be held at polling station 003 Daha Village, Hu'u Sub-district, Dompu Regency, NTB. The Petitioner also certified that the vote count in the Dompu Regency DPRD 2 election was 1,825 votes.
