JAKARTA (MKRI) — Parisman, a Regional Legislative Council (DPRD) candidate of South Sumatera Province in electoral district (Dapil) 7 from the National Awakening Party (PKB) has filed a petition for the 2024 election results dispute (PHPU). The Constitutional Court registrar’s office registered Parisman’s petition under No. 270-02-01-06/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024.
The preliminary hearing of the case was presided over by Constitutional Justices Arief Hidayat (panel court), Anwar Usman, and Enny Nurbaningsih, on Thursday, May 2, 2024 in panel 3.
Parisman was accompanied by legal counsel Dody Satriadi. In the hearing, Dody stated that there were allegations of additional votes for candidate number 1 on behalf of M. Oktafiansyah in Pendopo Subdistrict in 16 villages for 89 polling stations, which amounted to 3,021 votes. Based on a comparison with C Model of the Provincial DPRD copy results with D Model of the sub-district results, there was a correction in the vote acquisition of Candidate number 1 from 6,105 votes to 9,126 votes.
"We request the Court to cancel KPU Decree No. 360 2024 on the aquo case along the South Sumatra 7 for the election of candidates of the DPRD of South Sumatera Province and certify the results of the vote acquisition according to the Petitioner version for for the election of candidates of the DPRD of South Sumatra Province with votes: M. Oktafiansyah 27,503 votes, Parisma 28,758 votes, Emila Sjoliha 1,071 votes, Maran Mansyur 2,224 votes, Muhammad Riza 746 votes, Siti Hanipah 283 votes, Tedi Lesmono 1,203 votes, and Agustian 298 votes," Dody concluded.
