JAKARTA, (MKRI) - The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) filed a petition for the Dispute over the 2024 election results dispute of the DPR (House of Representatives), Provincial and Regency/City DPRD (Regional Legislative Council) for electoral district of Bombana Regency 3, Southeast Sulawesi. PDIP claimed violations at several Bombana Regency polling stations (TPS) in Case No. 113-01-03-28/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024.
Roy Jansen Siagian, acting as a legal counsel, mentioned a final voters list (DPT) voter who voted multiple times at TPS 1 in Ranokomea Village, West Poleang Subdistrict, Bombana Regency. He told the Panel led by Chief Justice Suhartoyo that the mandatory witness filed an objection, but the polling station working committee (KPPS) officers did not provide an objection form.
The petitioner further claimed that Usman voted fraudulently on TPS 1 in Watu Melomba Village, Tontonunu Subdistrict, because he was not registered on the DPT of TPS 1.
Roy stated that “Because of the incident, the mandated witness wanted to file an objection, but the polling station working committee (KPPS) personnel did not offer an objection form”.
Petitioner also found Form C Results unsealed at TPS 2 in Pallimae Village, Poleang Subdistrict, Bombana Regency. Finally, the Petitioner claimed vote acquisition inconsistencies between the Great Movement Party (Gerindra), PDIP , Hanura, and National Mandate (PAN) Party . In the petitum, the Petitioner asks the Court to instruct the General Elections Commission (KPU) to perform a revote in electoral district 3, Bombana Regency, Poleang Subdistrict, and Tontonunu Subdistrict. Revote will be held in polling stations TPS. 01 in Ranokomea Village, West Poleang Subdistrict; TPS. 01 in Watu Melomba Village, Tontonunu Subdistrict; TPS. 02 in Pallimae Village, Poleang Subdistrict; and TPS. 02 in Boepinang Barat Village, Poleang Subdistrict.
