JAKARTA (MKRI) — The Constitutional Court (MK) held a preliminary hearing for the 2024 legislative election results dispute on the Members of the DPR (House of Representatives) and Provincial/Regency/City DPRD (Regional Legislative Council) for Bogor City electoral district 2 (dapil) and Bogor 3 on Tuesday morning, April 30, 2024 in the Plenary Courtroom of Constitutional Court (MK). The Case Number 94-01-04-12/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024 was filed by the Party of Functional Groups (Golkar).

Legal counsel Daniel Febrian Karunia Herpas said there had been a reduction in the votes of the Golkar by 417 votes and an increase in the National Democratic Party’s (NasDem) votes by 30 votes.

“There has been a reduction in Golkar’s votes by 30 votes because vote number 2 on behalf of Heri Cahyono is 30 votes from the previous 31 votes to 1 vote as C. The results of polling stations (TPS) 45 Cilendek Barat Village,” he explained.

The petitioner also conveyed the reduction of Golkar’s votes and the addition of votes for other parties that occurred in Form D of Gunung Putri Subdistrict, due to the Recapitulation process carried out by subdistrict election committee (PPK) Gunung Putri which was stopped by Elections Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) Gunung Putri Regency based on Bawaslu Gunungputri Regency letter Number 53/PM.00.02/K.JB-04/03/2024 issued on March 2, 2024. Based on the Bawaslu's recommendation letter, the recapitulation of the vote count at the Gunung Putri PPK level was taken over by the Bogor Regency General Elections Commission (KPU), and the results of the recapitulation were that all witnesses from the Political Parties objected and did not sign the results of Form D Gunung Putri Subdistrict.

Therefore, the Petitioner requests the Court to cancel the KPU Decre Number 360 of 2024 as far the Bogor City 3 for filling the membership of the Bogor City DPRD and Bogor Regency 2 for filling the membership of the Bogor Regency in 2024.
