JAKARTA (MKRI) — Teddy Luthfiana, ad DPRD (Regional Legislative Council) candidate of Karawang Regency from the Party of Functional Groups (Golkar) of the electoral district of Karawang 4 retracted the petition No. 80-02-04-12/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024 over the 2024 legislative election results for his region. Legal counsel Gerry Leonard V. Langie revealed that the Petitioner had requested the retraction on March 27, 2024.

“Your Honors, we requested the retraction on March 27, 2024 since we have settled the matter internally,” Langie said before the panel chaired by Chief Justice Suhartoyo at the preliminary hearing on Tuesday afternoon, April 30, 2024.

In his petition, the Petitioner alleged that 102 of Golkar’s votes had been transferred to Golkar candidate number 1 at 42 polling stations.
