JAKARTA (MKRI) — Five petitioners of the DPR (House of Representatives) and Provincial/Regency/City Legislative Council (DPRD) election results dispute were absent from the preliminary hearing on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 in the plenary courtroom.

The cases are No. 124-02-05-12/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024 by Agus, No. 131-02-05-12/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024 by Asep Hidayat, No. 134-02-06-12/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024 by Reni Inti Rosdiana, No. 227-02-03-12/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024 by M. Lutfi Hafiyyan, and No. 250-02-09-12/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024 by Morantaro Rinaldi.

In case No. 124-02-05-12/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024 by Agus, DPRD candidate of the electoral district of West Java 2 for West Java Province, alleged that his votes in Cikalong Wetan, Cipendey, and Cipatat Subdistricts did not match the vote count at the polling stations.

Then, in case No. 131-02-05-12/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024, Asep Hidayat alleged that there had been vote buying practices by fellow party members. He also believed the subdistrict election committee (PPK) of Cipatat were not transparent on the votes recorded in the C-1 form.

Meanwhile, in case No. 134-02-06-12/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024, Reni Inti Rosdiana alleged that her votes in West Java 3 did not match the vote count at the polling stations. She also alleged vote buying had been practiced by fellow party members.

In case No. 227-02-03-12/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024, the vice treasurer of the branch executive board (DPC) of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) of Bandung Regency alleged that the vote count results in the D result form at the subdistrict level differed from that of the regency/city level.

Lastly, in case No. 250-02-09-12/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024, Morantaro Rinaldi alleged that his votes in four electoral districts had been reduced, thus greatly affecting the seats for the political parties contesting in the election.
