JAKARTA (MKRI) — The Registrar’s Office and the Secretariat-General of the Constitutional Court (MK) bid farewell to an employee entering retirement. The employee, head of the Pancasila and Constitutional Education Center Teguh Wahyudi, has reached his retirement age. The simple farewell event was held in the Court’s hall in the third building on Friday, April 26, 2024.
In his speech, Secretary-General Heru Setiawan expressed that every meeting inevitably leads to partings, and today the Court’s staff members gathered to mark a completion of dedicated service. “Today, we held this event to honor the completion of [Mr. Teguh’s] dedicated service. After working for 39 years. Mr. Teguh is now at grade IVE. In our hearts, there are no scars, he has hurt no one. Mr. Teguh and I started together when we joined the Constitutional Court in 2006,” he revealed.
Heru mentioned that Teguh, with his competency, restructured the recruitment process so that employees who were hired from 2003 could be appointed as civil servants. “Subsequently, after everyone became civil servants, Mr. Teguh played a significant role in restructuring the Court in 2012. He also played an extraordinary role until today’s secretary-general regulations. Today, we acknowledge our colleague, our beloved teacher and friend, Mr. Teguh Wahyudi who, as we all know, has served the Court for a long time. He joined in 2006 as one of the key personnel in human resources when the Court was newly established,” he explained.
According to Heru, Teguh served as a civil servant since 1985. Every day of his service was a dedication of integrity. All the dedication and knowledge imparted by him will always be remembered.
On this occasion, Heru asked all employees to always pray for Teguh to be blessed with good health and happiness in his retirement. “Enjoy your retirement and the time spent with your beloved family,” he said.
He emphasized that this retirement period may bring new colors to his life and his beloved family. “On behalf of the Constitutional Court, [I] extend [my] deepest gratitude for all your dedication. On this occasion, [I] also apologize for any actions or words that may have caused offense,” added Heru.
Meanwhile, in his speech, Teguh Wahyudi expressed gratitude and sought forgiveness from the employees for any mistakes, whether intentional or not, made during his tenure. “I apologize once again and express my thanks to the secretary-general and colleagues. May this be for the best,” said Teguh.
Teguh also expressed his hope that his successors in the Court will work with a spirit of devotion and good for the nation and the country. “Hopefully, in the future, we can maintain good relations,” he said.
