JAKARTA (MKRI) — The Constitutional Court (MK) participated in the Law Village Exhibition organized by the Supreme Court (MA) at the Cendrawasih Hall, Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC). The exhibition was held Monday-Tuesday, February 19-20, 2024, under the theme of “Strong Integrity, Dignified Judiciary”. MK achieved second place in the Best Booth category.
At the event's start, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (Muhammad Syarifuddin) opened the Law Village Exhibition 2024. Head of the Center of Research and Case Review and Library Management, Pan Mohammad Faiz, attended the event on behalf of MK.
The Law Village Exhibition, in addition to displaying legal service products from participants, also serves as a tool to give education and understanding on law and judiciary for students and communities, with an exciting display,” Chief Justice of MA Muhammad Syarifuddin said.
MA’s Annual Report 2023
This event was part of MA's Annual Report, which serves to disseminate legal products to society through interactive and educative methods. During the exhibition, MK displayed various legal products, such as Citizens’ Constitutional Rights icons in pocketbooks, MK’s Website, Majalah Konstitusi, Jurnal Konstitusi, and various information on MK in games.
MA’s Annual Report 2023 was delivered on the second day, Tuesday (20/02/2024). Chief Justice of MK, Suhartoyo, Deputy Chief Justice of MK, Saldi Isra, and Constitutional Justices, Daniel Yusmic P. Foekh, Guntur Hamzah, Ridwan Mansyur, and Arsul Sani attended the event. After the delivery, Constitutional Justices visited MK’s booth in the MA’s Law Village Exhibition.
At the end of the event, on 20 February 2024, MK achieved an award from the MA’s Legal and Public Relations Bureau as the Second-Best Booth during the Law Villate Exhibition 2024, which was accepted by the Head of Library and Constitution History Division, Yuni Sandrawati.
For information, the exhibition consisted of several ministries/institutions as participants, such as the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR), Judiciary Commission, Indonesia National Police, Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Financial Services Authority (OJK), Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK), Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Center for Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis (PPATK), Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU), dan various national and international agencies focusing on law.
