BOGOR (MKRI) — To improve the human resources capacity within the Registrar’s Office and the Secretariat-General of the Constitutional Court (MK) in the aspect of services, the Court organized a workshop on excellent services at the Pancasila and Constitution Education Center (Pusdik) in Cisarua, Bogor, West Java Province. The event will be taking place on Monday-Tuesday, September 25-26, 2023. Performaplus Consultant was invited to give presentations on services and human resources.
In his opening remarks, Secretary-General Heru Setiawan said that the participants were the representatives of all the Court’s work units. “The Court’s shall provide satisfactory services. Hopefully this workshop will set a standard of excellent services for all work units,” he said.
Heru said the participants join the 2024 general election results dispute (PHPU) taskforce team and provide excellent services. He stressed the importance of excellent services to the Court, in its effort to continue being a modern and trusted judicial institution. Services requires the standardization of attitude and ability of the agents, attention, appearance, and sympathy offered to the public.
“Even though the Court offer digital services, it also provides services that are adapted to the public, such as contact center on WhatsApp. Similarly, petitioners can file a petition either offline or online,” he said.
Before concluding his remarks, Heru explained that all staff members from different units in the Court must create synergy to offer excellent services. Evaluation on the services is also required to make improvements.
Workshop’s Purpose
Meanwhile, Nanang Subekti, head of the Program and Implementation Division of the Pancasila and Constitution Education Center (Pusdik), reported that 88 staff members of the Court’s bureaus and centers participated in this workshop.
The workshop served to support the Court’s preparation to face 2024 PHPU. It is aimed at helping staff members to be able to provide excellent services.
“We want guests to leave Pusdik with a smile. You will be trained to give a genuine smile and outstanding services,” Nanang said.
