JAKARTA (MKRI) — The Registrar’s Office and the Secretariat-General of the Constitutional Court (MK) held a workshop on its performance assessment in 2023 on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 in its main hall. Secretary-General Heru Setiawan, heads of bureaus, heads of centers, and staff members of work units within the Registrar’s Office and the Secretariat-General attended the workshop. Meanwhile, PT Kokek delivered a presentation on the issue.
In his remarks, Heru said that all employees of the Court have an obligation to carry out bureaucratic reform (RB). “Hopefully that the Court’s bureaucratic reform will improve from the previous year. Unlike in previous years, currently bureaucratic reform is performance-based and everyone must understand it,” he said.
Heru explained that the workshop aimed to help employees understand how the performance assessment system works. In order to improve and enhance the quality of services in the Constitutional Court, it is necessary to organize a constitutional court performance indicator survey to obtain an overview of follow-up service improvements.
“The service performance indicator survey is not only carried out for services to the community, but also to evaluate internal services within the Constitutional Court. The performance indicator survey is an effort to improve employee capacity in terms of professional services that have integrity, capability, and accountability,” Heru said.
Thus, all employees were expected to add insight and understanding for good governance.
Involving Echelon Officials
In his report, the head of the Planning and Finance Bureau Tatang Garjito explained that the workshop participants—84 in total—include Echelon II, III, and IV officials and executives who were designated as operators of the e-survey application for work units.
Tatang said this workshop aimed to introduce the e-survey application that the Court rented as one of the instruments in measuring the level of public satisfaction over the Court’s services as well as to show how the application is used to assess performance. The workshop will also show the procedure for inputting questionnaires into the e-survey, determining the population, and creating links and reports.
He hoped the participants understand the stages of the survey, starting from the preparation of questionnaires, inputting questionnaires, determining the population, creating survey links, and reporting survey results. PT Kokek showed the participants how to use the application.
