JAKARTA, MKRI — The Constitutional Court (MK) had an audience with Hukumonline on Thursday, July 27, 2023 in a meeting room on the 11th floor. Hukumonline was received by the head of the Center for Research, Case Review, and Library Management Pan Mohamad Faiz along with several library manages, librarians, expert assistants to constitutional justices, IT offices, and the Center’s staff members.

Through the audience, Hukumonline wished to increase cooperation with the Court in various aspects, especially related to library collection, research and case studies, public education, and analysis of Court decisions.

Amrie Hakim, the Chief Media & Engagement Officer of Hukumonline.com, explained that Hukumonline.com was initiated by legal observers in the beginning of the Reform Era in 2000 to provide education and enlightenment to the public about law and policy in Indonesia.

“In the future, hopefully the Constitutional Court, which has a very strategic role in upholding the Constitution, provide input for the development of Hukumonline.com, including the utilization of features developed by Hukumonline,” Amrie said.

In response, Faiz said that in principle the Constitutional Court welcomed Hukumonline’s good intentions and valuable collaboration. During the audience, several participants of the audience provided input on the utilization of Court’s data sources and on the development of Hukumonline.com features.

Hukumonline.com is currently developing a GPT with limited data sources and quality content. It also utilizes the Constitutional Court’s data.
