JAKARTA (MKRI) — The Constitutional Court (MK) received its seventeenth consecutive unqualified (WTP) opinion award for its accountable, transparent financial report based on assessment by the Audit Board (BPK). BPK member III Achsanul Kosasih conferred the award directly to Secretary-General Heru Setiawan at BPK’s auditorium on Monday afternoon, July 10, 2023.

In his speech, Achsanul said that the assessment of the financial statements of ministries/agencies is a mandate of the 1945 Constitution and statutory laws. The submission of this audit report, he said, was also a mandate of the Constitution and statutory laws.

“The assessment report, this financial report, the content is appropriateness. Have ministers disclosed their reports reasonably? That’s why there are WTP, WDP, disclaimer, adverse, because we only convey whether it is reasonable or not, this has nothing to do with corruption. But once there are things that are not reasonable, we will not hesitate to conduct investigation,” he said.

Previously, in his report, senior state financial auditor III Ahmad Adib Susilo said the audit reports (LHPs) of ministries/agencies continued to show positive results. He expressed thanks to ministers, secretaries-general, directors-general, and finance bureaus of ministries/agencies for good communication during assessment.

The BPK handed down an unqualified opinion for the Government Financial Report (LKPP) of 2022. The assessment of 82 financial reports of ministries/state agencies (LKKL) and financial reports from state general treasurer (LKBUN) showed unqualified opinion for 81 LKKLs and LKBUNs.
