JAKARTA (MKRI) — To assess employee competencies for finding prospective successors for the 2022 succession plan group (KRS)/talent pool through the assessment center method based on the employee talent management system (Simantap), the Constitutional Court (MK) carried out a competency assessment for civil servants (PNS) and non-civil servant government employees (PPNPN) on Monday, June 26, 2023 at the Court’s main building.
Before 120 employees in three sessions of the assessment, Head of the Human Resources Development Division Andi Hakim, said that the competency and potential testing through the 360° Assessment is ongoing profiling that is part of continuous career development to fill positions at the Court.
Tjitjik Hamidah, one of the psychologists that facilitate the testing participants, said that the potential test reflects the participants. Cheating on it would mean that they would be misrepresenting themselves. She added that participants who get good results on this assessment would be encouraged to continue to develop as much as possible.
She also explained that the participants would take three types of tests: the intelligence potential test, the personality test, and the work attitude test. The first test relates to intelligence, and has time constraint. Through this test, she said, intelligence is measured by speed and precision in solving problems. She said there was no right or wrong in the personality test and that the participant must answer following their conditions, as the results would describe their strengths and weaknesses.
“Meanwhile, the work attitude test will find out how the participants solve problems in accordance with their respective responsibilities. In psychological tests, it is also important to understand the instructions. Make sure you understand the instructions, the logic, and the processing time of each group of questions,” Tjitjik explained.
