JAKARTA (MKRI) — The Constitutional Court’s (MK) Registrar’s Office and the Secretariat-General of the Constitutional Court gave a farewell ceremony to state assets (BMN) manager Suwarno, who entered into retirement. The simple event took place at the Court’s main hall on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

In his remarks, Secretary-General Heru Setiawan said the Court’s civil servants (PNS) are important resources who make contribution to achieve the organization’s objectives. For their accountable potential, competencies, contributions, and dedication, they deserve a token of appreciation.

“Mr. Suwarno has made dedication and entered into retirement. He had served the Court as a civil servant for 32 years and 4 months, with his last position as a state assets manager in the General Affairs Bureau. The service was not short and was full of struggle and dedication. While serving the Court, he showed incredible dedication. All well-done services and duties deserve appreciation,” Heru said.

He also requested that all staff members to pray for Suwarno’s health, happiness, and joy in his retirement. He believes retirement is not the end of one’s activities and creativity. Dedication shall not stop at retirement. Spirit and optimism must carry on.

“On behalf of all of the Constitutional Court, I express gratitude for Mr. Suwarno’s dedication to the Constitutional Court. Hopefully his dedication, spirit, and hard work be a role model for the other staff members in carrying out their duties as civil servants,” he said.

In turn, Suwarno expressed apologies to the staff members for any mistakes that he made, intentional or not. “Once again, my apologies and thank you.”
