JAKARTA, (MKRI) — The Constitutional Court (MK) through its Inspectorate held a workshop on independent survey for the development of Integrity Zone (ZI) on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the main hall. Fifty-six staff members of the Registrar’s Office and the Secretariat-General of the Constitutional Court were in attendance.
Acting Secretary-General Heru Setiawan said in his remarks that the workshop was part of the Court’s effort to provide quality, corruption-free public services for the development of Integrity Zone (ZI) following the Circular Letter of the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform No. 4 of 2023 on the proposal and evaluation of integrity zone in 2023.
Heru said the development of ZI is aimed at finding best practices in work units that receive the predicate of a Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) and Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Zone (WBBM) so they could be role models for other units. Therefore, it has two targets: clean and accountable governance and outstanding public services. The achievement of the targets is measured through six areas of change and the results of perceived service quality survey (SPKP) and anti-corruption perception survey (SPAK).
SPKP and SPAK are part of the effort to provide certainty and clarity of the proposal of work units for ZI evaluation in 2023 and compel government institutions to perform ZI evaluation using the same standards and mechanism set by the assessors. They also serve to improve the quality of staff members in terms of professionalism, integrity, capability, accountability, and freedom from corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN).
Based on that background, Heru added, hopefully the workshop would help the Court reach the goal and provide benefits for its participants. He also hoped that it would help the Court in developing ZI in 2023.
Meanwhile, acting Inspector Kurniasih Panti Rahayu said that the fifty-six participants came from all work units that applied for WBK and WBBM evaluation.
“Out of all participants, one person will be appointed to be in charge of each work unit to be an administrator of the work unit in implementing the survey,” she said.
Tan Joni Yulfan, Miftahul Ulum, at a team from PT Kokek spoke at the event. In his presentation, Joni explained the criteria for clean, accountable governance.
He believes that outstanding services can be measure through a quality assessment. The implementation of the SPKP refers to the policy on the public satisfaction survey that the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform issued.
