JAKARTA (MKRI) — Administrators and members of the Constitutional Court’s (MK) Constitution Cooperative joined an annual members’ meeting (RAT) for 2023 on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the hall of the Court’s main building both on site and online. This year’s meeting was entitled “Thriving Cooperative, Prosperous Members.” The meeting was opened by Acting Secretary-General Heru Setiawan, who also advises the Cooperative.

In his remarks, Heru said that the Cooperative serves to improve the members’ welfare. After conducting programs all year, it was time for it to present a report, which had been audited by a public accountant and received an unqualified (WTP) opinion.

“The Cooperative has done everything well. The next target for the administrators is to develop more programs for the business unit that the Constitution Cooperative. In the future, more members can be invited so as to improve welfare,” he said.

Members’ Welfare

The Cooperative’s chairman, Budi Hari Wibowo, also said in his remarks that aside from being a pillar of national economy, cooperatives also serve as a basis for popular economy. For the Constitution Cooperative, this is reflected in its existence alongside the Court’s establishment. “This year’s members’ meeting is not only expected to be a discussion on the [residual income (SHU)], but also the efforts to boost the Constitution Cooperative, so the participation of all members at the moment can provide more benefits for the advancement of the Cooperative,” he said. The meeting was even merrier with quizzes and prizes.
