(MKRI) — The Constitutional Court (MK) held a coordination meeting for the technical assistance program (bimtek) of the resolution of elections results disputes (PHPU) of the 2024 Election on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at the Pancasila and Constitution Education Center, Cisarua, Bogor, West Java. The participants were members of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI). The meeting was held online via Zoom and led by acting head of the Pancasila and Constitution Education Center Imam Margono.
Imam explained the program’s curriculum, schedule, qualifications for the participants, etc. He revealed that 150 participants consisted of 3 representatives from each province and 36 from the party’s central executive board (DPP), who received a letter of assignment signed by the party’s chairman and secretary-general to participate in the program. In order to participate, prospective participants filled out and submit a CV form prepared by the committee no later than two weeks before the program. The participants were required to bring a laptop/tablet for the program.
“The registration of the participants began with a letter by the party’s DPP to invite participants, then the DPP determined the participants at both the provincial and central levels. Upon arrival at [the Pancasila and Constitution Education Center], the prospective participants must show their collective letter of assignment and [KTP/resident identity card] for registration purposes. Recapitulation date of the participant, which had been compiled by the DPP, was sent to [the Pancasila and Constitution Education Center] (at least 2 weeks before the program). Participant data that had been sent by the party DPP were processed and inputted into the system by [the Pancasila and Constitution Education Center],” Imam explained.
He further explained that the program was planned to take place for four days and three nights on site. An attendance list would be provided in each session and can be accessed online. The participants would also do a pre-test and post-test to measure their general abilities.
The coordination meeting was held by the Court on January 11-24, 2023 targeting the KPU, Bawaslu, 24 political parties, the Association of Indonesian Advocates (Peradi), the Congress of Indonesian Advocates (KAI), Perari, and more.
