JAKARTA (MKRI)—The Constitutional Court (MK) inaugurated a civil servant (PNS) from the general functional position to a functional auditor in the Registrar’s Office and the Secretariat-General of the Constitutional Court on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in Building 1 of the Court. The event was led by interim Inspector Kurniasih Panti Rahayu.

In the Decree of the Secretary-General of the Constitutional Court No. 442 of 2022 on the Appointment of Civil Servant (PNS) read out by the Head of the Justices Administration and Human Resources Division Dede Agustina Naibaho, the Court’s secretary-general inaugurated Surya Murni Pangesti as a functional auditor on September 28, 2022.

“The appendix to the Decree of the Secretary-General of the Constitutional Court No. 442 of 2022 dated September 28, 2022. Name: Surya Murni Pangesti Lestari. Old position: administration analyst. New position: junior auditor,” Naibaho said.

In her remarks, Kurniasih advised that all functional auditors can perform their duties and functions in accordance with existing regulations and optimize the Inspectorate’s role, and oversee and guide the Court’s governance to achieve good governance.

“Carry out [your] duties in accordance with the regulations and your expertise. Please always offer sincerity and honesty in every work you do and take advantage of your expertise to serve the nation through the Constitutional Court,” she advised.

She added that there will be more challenges in the future, so professionalism, independence, and objectivity must be maintained.

“We will be observed by many other institutions. There are many indexes or measures that we must go through,such as integrity index and so on. This is the Inspectorate’s challenge and one of an additional duty in providing services to other work units aside from performing its main duties and provide assistance to other units,” she asserted.
