JAKARTA (MKRI)—The Constitutional Court’s (MK) online internship program, which had taken place for one month, officially concluded on Thursday, September 1, 2022. Acting Head of the Human Resources and Organization Department Andi Hakim gave his remarks.

“We would like to congratulate and thank the students for your time and dedication throughout the one-month online internship program,” he said to participants, who are law students from various universities in Indonesia such as the University of Indonesia, Syarif Hidayatullah University, Gadjah Mada University, Islamic University of Indonesia, and Diponegoro University.

He also thanked the Constitutional Court’s officials and staff members who participated in the program, such as the Head of the Human Resources and Organization Bureau Teguh Wahyudi and the Head of the Center for Research, Case Review, and Library Management Kurniasih Panti Rahayu.

Agents of Change

Andi hoped that the interns would be agents of change in implementing the Constitutional Court’s functions in guarding democracy and protecting human rights. Some of the students, he had discovered, wished to become staff members of the Constitutional Court.

“‘The nation’s generations will be continued by youth’ might sound cliché, but the nation will be survived by the young generations, not the old ones. It’s a cliché statement but it contains our prayers and support for your dreams to provide the best services to justice seekers,” he concluded.
