JAKARTA, Public Relations—In order to reinforce its digital ecosystem, the Constitutional Court (MK) officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PT Peruri Digital Security (PDS) for the use of electronic stamp (e-stamp) on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Constitutional Court.

At the event, Head of the General Bureau Elisabeth said that the Court intended to use PT Peruri’s e-stamp to meet its needs. “The Court looked for a partner to help follow-up on duties in relation to the use of e-stamp,” she said.

At the end of her remarks, Elisabeth expressed hope that both institutions would continue the cooperation and exchange solutions in the application of the technology. “We will also support the programs to take place following the agreement that we made in the MoU,” she stressed.

Meanwhile, Executive Director of PT Peruri Digital Security Tetty Herawati Siregar said Perum Peruri had received mandate from the Directorate-General of Taxation (DGT) to produce, distribute, and sell e-stamps, for which they appointed Peruri Digital Security.

“We also try to cooperate with the Constitutional Court or other partners so that the ecosystem and distribution of the e-stamp can run smoothly. This collaboration is a noble and strategic state duty, because this is directed for rapid digitization in Indonesia,” she explained.

Tetty hoped that the cooperation and the use of e-stamp would make the Court’s performance more efficient and safer. “We will also support [the Court] in the event of problems during implementation,” she stressed.

The MoU was signed to implement e-stamp and the Application Programing Interface (API) of the e-stamp in the Court’s internal applications. The MoU will last for six months after signing, from December 30, 2021 to June 30, 2022. The e-stamp is in the form of a label attached on documents electronically. It is mentioned in the Ministerial Regulation (PMK) No. 133/PMK.03/2021.
