JAKARTA, Public Relations—The Constitutional Court’s (MK) Center for Information and Communication Technology (PUSTIK) obtained the Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) award. It was announced at the Integrity Zone Event Toward WBK/WBBM of 2021 by the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) both onsite and online on Monday, December 20, 2021.

Aside from the Constitutional Court, over 500 work units of state institutions, ministries, and regional governments received WBK and WBBM (Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Zone) awards for 2021.

The awards were handed over by the Minister of PANRB Tjahjo Kumolo. The event was part of the commemoration of the World Anti-Corruption Day and the final part of the evaluation of the integrity zone development toward WBK/WBBM.

“The predicate is awarded as appreciation for state institutions and work units that have develop integrity zones earnestly so that the community gets excellent service and integrity,” he said.

As it had been the year before, this year’s event was carried out in a hybrid manner, both onsite and virtually. Vice President Ma’ruf Amin had been scheduled to attend online to give his remarks to the recipients of the awards.

WBK is a predicate awarded to work units that have implemented most of the criteria of the six bureaucratic reform program areas and have been able to prevent corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN) in their midst. The six areas are management of change, structuring of management, structuring of human resource management system, improvement of supervision, and improvement of performance accountability.

Meanwhile, WBBM is a predicate awarded to work units that have implemented most of the criteria of the six bureaucratic reform program areas, able to prevent KKN, and provide excellent services. The head of the work units and their staff must also have made real, systematic, and sustainable improvements to their organizations.
