JAKARTA, HUMAS MKRI - Kompetisi Debat Konstitusi Mahasiswa Antar Perguruan Tinggi se-Indonesia XIV Tahun 2021 memasuki Tahap Penyisihan, Kamis (18/11/2021). Sebanyak 24 tim dibagi menjadi tim “pro” dan tim “kontra”. Masing-masing tim, baik yang pro maupun kontra, terdiri dari tiga orang dan dibagi dalam empat sesi penyisihan serta dinilai oleh tiga orang dewan juri. 

JAKARTA, Public Relations—The All-Indonesia University Student Constitutional Debate Competition XIV entered the elimination round on Thursday, November 18, 2021. The 24 remaining teams were divided into “pro” and “con” teams. Each team consisted of three people. The round consisted of four sessions and was adjudicated by three members of the jury.

Rangkaian kompetisi Debat Konstitusi mahasiswa tahap penyisihan ini, akan berlangsung mulai hari ini, Kamis, 18 November 2021 sampai dengan Jum’at, 19 November 2021. Sesi penyisihan hingga semifinal akan diadakan secara hybrid, dimana para peserta debat mengikuti secara virtual sementara dewan juri hadir langsung di Pusdik Pancasila dan Konstitusi, Cisarua, Bogor.

The elimination round of the debate competition will be taking place on Wednesday-Friday, November 17-19, 2021. The elimination until the semifinal rounds will be taking place in a hybrid manner (onsite and online), where the participants will participate virtually while the jury online from the Court’s Pancasila and Constitution Education Center (Pusdik), Cisarua, Bogor.

Adapun 24 tim yang lolos tahap eleminasi yakni Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Andalas, Universitas Brawijaya, Universitas Diponegoro, Universitas Esa Unggul, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Hasanuddin, Universitas Islam Indonesia, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah, Universitas Jember, Universitas Khairun, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Universitas Padjajaran, Universitas Pelita Harapan, Universitas Raden Intan Lampung, Universitas Riau, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Universitas Tanjungpura, Universitas Tarumanagara, Universitas Trunojoyo dan Universitas Udayana. 

Twenty-four teams passed the elimination round: Airlangga University, Andalas University, Brawijaya University, Diponegoro University, Esa Unggul University, Gadjah Mada University, Hasanuddin University, the Islamic University of Indonesia, Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University of Yogyakarta, Hidayatullah State Islamic University, the University of Jember, Khairun University, Muhammadiyah University of Malang, Padjajaran University, Pelita Harapan University, Raden Intan University of Lampung, the University of Riau, Sebelas Maret University, the University of North Sumatera, Syiah Kuala University, the University of Tanjungpura, Tarumanagara University, Trunojoyo University, and Udayana University.

Sebagai bentuk apresiasi terhadap peserta terbaik, akan diberikan Piala Bergilir “Ketua Mahkamah Konstitusi” kepada Pemenang atau Juara I kompetisi debat konstitusi ini. Selain itu, Hadiah Juara Tahap Nasional ini juga terdiri dari trofi MK bagi Juara I, II, III, dan Best Speaker, medali bagi juara I, II, III, IV dan Best Speaker, Total Uang Pembinaan Ratusan Juta Rupiah bagi seluruh tim serta sertifikat penghargaan bagi seluruh tim.

The first winner of the competition will receive the rotating chief constitutional justice trophy. Trophies will also be awarded to the second and third winners as well as the best speaker. The first, second, and third winners as well as the runner-up and the best speaker will receive medals, funding totaling hundreds of million rupiahs, and certificates.

The jury consists of law experts, academics, and practitioners from well-known universities all across Indonesia. The jury will decide the competition with objective assessments.
