JAKARTA, Public Relations—The Constitutional Court (MK) received a BMN Award 2021, which was announced by the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati virtually, Monday morning, November 15, 2021. Secretary-General M. Guntur Hamzah attended the event from his office at the 11th floor of the Court’s building.

The BMN Awards 2021 was the Ministry of Finance’s token of appreciation to ministries/agencies and stakeholders that managed to maintain state assets in the form of state properties (BMN) or through an auction process. The Constitutional Court won a 2021 BMN Award for the category of reporting quality group I alongside the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs (PMK) and the State Administration Agency (LAN). The Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kemenkominfo), the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), and the Audit Board (BPK) won BMN Awards for group II of the same category.

“Of course, all of these results can continue to be appreciated, but we have no reason to be complacent with these achievements, because there are still many challenges,” Sri Mulyani said.

She encouraged other stakeholders who had not receive the awards not to be discouraged but to keep trying so they will have achievements in managing and utilizing state properties. She believed the nation and state’s management of its assets would show its character and civilization.

“So, if all ministries/agencies continuously try to raise awareness in managing state properties, or state assets, it is actually our joint effort to continue building the character of the Indonesian nation and civilization,” she stressed.
