JAKARTA, Public Relations—Secretary-General of the Constitutional Court (MK) M. Guntur Hamzah received a gold trophy for the unqualified (WTP) opinion from the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday afternoon, September 7, 2021. The trophy was awarded to the Court for receiving a WTP opinion for its financial report 15 times consecutively.

The gold trophy will then be handed over to Chief Justice Anwar Usman and be announced officially at a virtual event organized by the ministry.

On the occasion, Guntur said that the Court would continue showing transparency in its budget use by creating a system on which its budget spending will be publicly accessible in real-time. The electronic recording of all budget details, he said, is in line with President Joko Widodo’s directive of bureaucratic digitalization. He hoped that the Ministry of Finance’s SAKTI application would be developed to connect to the Court’s real-time budget report application. He also added that the Court was developing an e-audit application for the Audit Board (BPK).

“Therefore, the BPK auditors can access documents that will be audited online,” he added.

The WTP opinion that the Court received, Guntur said, was not an achievement but a responsibility to present financial reports accountably, which needs not any compliment.
