JAKARTA, Public Relations—The Constitutional Court (MK) is currently selecting the winners of the infographics contest on the Court’s decisions, which was held to commemorate the Court’s upcoming 18th anniversary on August 13, 2021.

“We have carried out the first stage of the selection on 82 participants. Seven works have been eliminated for not meeting the contest’s requirements,” said Head of the Public Relations and National Affairs Department Fajar Laksono Soeroso, who led the jury, on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.

The first stage was to ensure that the content of the infographics are the Court’s decisions and that they can provide the public with a simple understanding of the Court’s decisions that the participants deemed interesting or phenomenal.

“At the second stage, the jury of the infographics contest on the Court’s decisions will rate the 75 infographics that made it to this stage,” Fajar explained.

The jury comprises art director Erren Pratama (chair), editor-in-chief of Hukumonline Fathan Qorib (member), and the Court’s associate researcher Bisariyadi (member). On the third stage of the selection, Fajar said, the jury will select six best pieces—1st to 3rd places and three favorite pieces. They will be announced on the Court’s social media accounts on August 7-12, 2021.

The contest was announced on June 14, 2021 through the Court’s website and social media accounts. The contest is open for public, except for the Court’s staff members and their families.

The pieces were collected from June 15 to July 15, 2021 through Google Drive, where participants were asked to fill in Google forms. The jury will be selecting the pieces on July 23 to August 5, 2021. The final selection will take place on August 4-5, 2021. The winners will be announced on August 13, 2021 on the Court’s website and social media accounts.
