JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—On Tuesday, December 29, 2020 Bima Regency Ticket No. 2 H. M. Nur-Ady Mahyudi turned up again at the hall of the Constitutional Court (MK) to revise the petition that they had filed on December 19. They revised the background of their petition regarding the alleged violations before and during voting day of the 2020 election of governors, regents, and mayors (pilkada) of Bima Regency.

The petitioner in their revised petition claimed that the Bima Regency General Elections Commission (KPU) as the respondent had not been neutral as they had manipulated the final voters list (DPT) to advance Ticket No. 3 Indah Dhamayanti Putri-Dahlan M. Noer, who were declared the winner with 130,963 or 44.43% of votes.

The petitioner also alleged that the Bima Regency KPU had not updated the DPT with the voters data from the neighborhood units (RT) and community units (RW). This, they alleged, had deprived many local residents of the right to vote. As a result of this, many deceased and underage residents were listed.

As of Tuesday afternoon, December 29, 2020, the Court has received 135 petitions of the 2020 pilkada dispute—76 lodged online via simpel.mkri.id, 59 lodged in person. 114 petitions were filed by regency tickets, 14 by mayoral tickets, and 7 by gubernatorial tickets. The progress of the 2020 pilkada election dispute can be viewed on the Court’s website.
